Nuna8 managed to get the world cup to Delft for the sixth time. With a total time of 33:26:12 over 3022 km with Solar Team Twente at 8 minutes just behind them. In the history of the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, the competition has never been so tense. The Vattenfall Solar Team managed to win first place on the fourth day and held it until the finish. Although Nuna8 was 30 kilos lighter than Nuna7 and had reduced its aerodynamic resistance by 9%, the competition was stronger than ever since all designs were very similar: an asymmetrical quadricycle. An extra challenge for Nuna8 was that everything that was used with static charging in the car had to go with it. So this is the first Nuna that can load itself statically.
